Welcome to Tanks For Everything
Tanks For Everything gives you the chance to experience real military vehicles up close. We offer driving (yes YOU can drive), rides, guided tours, group events and more.
We know our tank driving and ride experiences are awesome fun but dont just take our word for it: click the video to see what Andrei from Russia thought of us.
All Blacks Piri Weepu, Conrad Smith and Keven Mealamu try their hand at our FV432 APC obstacle course challenge, with the winner getting to drive our monster Centurion tank over a car crushing it flat!
Our amazing vehicles range from a classic jeep to a 52-tonne main battle tank. Based just 10 minutes from Christchurch Airport on our own private site, our friendly and experienced staff will ensure you get the most fun possible from your tank experience.
As well as individual and small group experiences we also offer team-building, corporate events, vehicle hire and gift vouchers - perfect for the team or person who 'has done everything' - bet they haven't driven a tank before!

Our most popular activities - you drive a single one of our vehicles. Vehicle passenger rides
Perfect for families and those not wanting to drive themselves. Let one of our friendly instructors give you a guided tour of our amazing fleet, then get your halmets on and head out onto the track for a hot lap in your chosen vehicle. Vehicle Tours
We have had a lot of people say that the guided tour was really fascinating and something they hadn't realised would be so interesting and enjoyable before they came along. A guided tour of our vehicles is included with every driving experience and includes up to 5 people at no extra charge. Group rides also include a guided tour. Contact Us
Team-building and Corporate events
A tank experience makes for a really unusual, inspiring and memorable team experience. Depending on your objectives, timeframe and budget we have a range of out of the box or customised activites which will meet or exceed your expectations and will be talked about long after you had left our site. Car crushing
The ultimate expression of a tank's size and power - crushing a car totally flat with ease. Car crushing can be added to a tank driving experience (or any driving package which includes a tank). Group events - stag, hen, social clubs...

Birthday parties
Birthday parties are always a huge hit with kids and 'big' kids at Tanks For Everything! We have tables and chairs for party food (after the rides!) if you wish to bring this. The most popular option is a guided tour and ride/s (with the birthday boy or girl as vehicle commander) but we can also customise a special experience just for you - Contact Us to find out more.
Gift vouchers
How about a tank driving voucher for that special person? Vouchers can be bought for individual vehicle drives, multi-vehicle packages or for a monetary amount. Ideal for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, graduations, thank you's or rewards. Please Contact Us to buy your voucher.
Opening Hours
We are open any time by prior arrangement for driving and group experiences. On our Tours and Rides days we open from 11am-4pm with no need to book.

How long it takes
The total length of time you're with us will depend on exactly what you choose to do. Usually the guided tour takes 45-60 minutes. driving time is 20-25 minutes per vehicle driven including instructions time and passenger rides take 10-15 minutes per vehicle ridden.
