Earthquake proof attraction
We have had a busy December, Christmas and New Year period with lots of visitors and a few wobbles to remind us about the earthquakes - the good news is that tanks are about the most earthquake proof items we could have picked to own and as you would imagine we have been up and running the whole time.... great for a bit of stress relief if you need it!

Tough Times Easing?
Its been tough for the last few months but hopefully things are picking up, its getting warmer and the Rugby World Cup is giving the whole country a boost. Thanks to those who have still made it to Christchurch - we along with the vast majority of venues and attractions are open for business, we love welcoming visitors and our tanks are ready to roll.
Tuesday 26 July
All Weather Attraction
We have had a couple of pretty good snow dumps recently - great for the local ski fields but also great for tank driving - we can operate in any weather and as you would expect a bit of white stuff doesnt really slow a battle tank down. In fact in the case of 'Boris' our Russian T-55 tank (pictured below) I think it just made him feel a bit more at home over here in NZ!

Earthquake Update
Following the Christchurch quake we are open for business as usual and fortunately suffered no damage - our thoughts are with those who have lost people and property in the tragedy. Thanks to everyone who has sent emails and messages asking if we are OK - much appreciated! If you want to come and do some tank driving or want to make a future booking please contact us - we always appreciate the business but even more so at the moment!
Friday 26th November
Vouchers available online
We now offer the facility to purchase tank driving (and ride) gift vouchers online and have them emailed directly to you - see the vouchers page for more info. You can still email us direct, phone or arrange to call in and buy them at our site on McLeans Island if you prefer. Just perfect for Christmas!

More filming at Tanks
Grant Denyer and the Australian 'Sunrise' breakfast show crew came along and had fun driving the tanks and crushing a car. Grant did a great job with the vehicles and also showing the Aussies that Christchurch is definitely open for business again following on from all the media coverage the recent earthquake got across the ditch.
Monday 9th August
All Blacks at Tanks
All Blacks Piri Weepu, Conrad Smith and Keven Mealamu try their hand at our FV432 APC obstacle course challenge, with the winner getting to drive our monster Centurion tank over a car crushing it flat! The video of the boys having fun is on our home page.
Monday 4th January
Busy but fun
We have been (and still are) very busy at the tank site - hence the gap since the last update! Our December Tours and Rides family day was great fun with lots of the vehicles in action on the day - the next one of these days is on Sunday 31st January. Along with New Zealanders, we seem to have had a lot of American and Australian visitors over the last few weeks, as well as a Hungarian couple who were very generous in helping us translate lots of the control labels in the T-55 tank - good to find out a bit more about what some of those switches actually do!
Sunday 13th September
Centurion now back in action
'Maximus' the Cent has now had the required maintenance carried out and thanks to Matt the mechanic is ready to roar into action again. It's good to have the biggest and most popular vehicle in the fleet available for driving and rides again.

Trips, sales, maintenance and events
Well its been a busy few months since I last updated the news page. We've had a trip to the USA and UK which included very interesting visits to the US tank museum at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, the UK tank museum at Bovington and then the War and Peace Show at Beltring Kent. Lots of amazing vehicles to see and interesting people to talk to. Our only purchases this time were various spare parts to help keep the fleet running - but I have also got a few ideas for the future...
We have advertised our least used two vehicles for sale and it seems that Haggrid the Hagglunds will soon be heading north to a new home. it will be sad to see him go but we just haven't been using the machine enough to justify keeping it.
Our Centurion needs some fairly major maintenance doing (OK what tank maintenance isn't major!) so it will not be available for use from Monday 7th Sept for about a week - possibly a little longer if things dont go smoothly! We have tried to time the work so its after Father's Day and before our next bookings for it a fortnight later. We will aim to keep our other big tank (Boris the T-55) plus the rest of the vehicles available during this time.
There are lots of shows and event coming up and we'll be out with some of the vehicles at: Sat 5th Spet - Boys Day Out, The Maize Maze, Halswell Junction Road, Chch; Sat 26th & Sun 27th Sept 2009 - Waipara Vintage Festival, Waipara, North Canterbury; Sat 10th & Sun 11th October 2009 - Swap Meet at the Vintage Car Club Mcleans Island Road; Sat 24th October 2009 - Rangiora A&P Show - at Rangiora show grounds; Sun 25th & Mon 26th Oct 2009 Labour Weekend - Conflict & Peace themed weekend at Ferrymead Heritage Park, Ferrymead, Christchurch; Sun 8th November 2009 11am-4pm - Tours and Rides day at the Tanks For Everything site; Weds 11th, Thurs 12th, Fri 13th Nov 2009 - Christchurch Royal A&P Show
Well thats it for now - better get back to the work as we have a busy few weeks coming up.

Downloadable brochure available now
Its been a bit of a quiet week so I'm taking the opportunity to work on the business rather than in it! This includes a few website changes - the first of which is a downloadable version or our brochure which can be found on "The Vehicles" or "Driving Experiences" pages - you'll need acrobat reader to open it once downloaded. More updates to the website to follow...

Next Tours & Rides Day and travel plans
Times flies and again I realised I hadn't done a news update for a while. We've been keeping busy with customers and the never ending maintenace tasks on the vehicles.
Our Tours and Rides day in April was one of the busiest yet with both the big tanks in action several times throughout the day, the Abbot also did a good few laps to entertain the spectators. The next Tours and Rides day is going to be on Sunday 2nd August.
We are also planning for a trip to the USA and UK in July - which will include several tank museums and a huge military show in the UK - looking forward to that! Tanks will be open while we're away so don't worry if you were wanting to visit us or buy a voucher during July.
Thursday 26 March
Upcoming show, Tours Day, videos and the Army come to TFE
Just realised its been a while since I updated our news page - been kept busy over summer with vehicle maintenance, going to shows and events and customers of course. Next weekend (28th/29th March) is the inaugural Mcleans Island Country Vintage Fair being held at Steam Scene, the Vinatge Car Club and the Vintage Machinery Club - we are taking along a few vehicles and are looking forward to what should be a very interesting couple of days.
Our next Tours and Rides date has now been set - Sunday 19th April is the day and as before we'll be open 11am-4pm with the usual guest vehicles and tank car crushing fun.
I have a few new videos to add to the Video Gallery page and will be doing so over the next week or so. The clips are of various vehicles in action at a recent driving day. On this day we also had the NZ Army along - they had asked to come along and practice using their thermal imaging sight on some 'real' tanks and APC's (since there are no tanks or indeed any tracked vehicles in service with the NZ Army at the moment). We were happy to help out and hopefully it proved a useful exercise for the guys.

New video clips and a brand new driving experience
TV One came to film the Breakfast weather reports at Tanks For Everything recently and I have added some of the clips to our Video Gallery page.
I've been asked a few times now about how much it would cost to add the 'other' tank to The Big One package. In response to this I have added a new driving experience which includes this to our site. "Armour-Geddon" is the name and it comprises the Saracen APC, FV432 APC, T-55 Main Battle Tank and Centurion Main Battle Tank for a serious slice of heavy armoured heaven!
Other than that we are enjoying the summer weather and keeping busy meeting lots of the nice people who come along to us as customers.
Sunday 30 November
Drives, more drives, corporate fun, filming and our oldest lady tank driver yet.
We've had a busy time since the last news update and I was amazed to see that over a month has passed.
With the weather warming up we have been busy with lots of customers coming along for drives and rides - I have added pictures of recent customers driving both the T-55 and Centurion tanks. I both cases our guests did a good job of the driving and had a great time with us.
I've also added shots from the Rangiora A&P Show which was well attended and a very nice day out.
Last weekend a new record was set with Lois becomes our oldest female tank driver when she took the Cent for a spin as part of her 70th Birthday celebrations - our oldest male driver so far was 86!
We've also been busy with company groups coming out for their team building and Christmas party events - there's still time to come along if you are looking for a unique and unforgettable group event this summer. Finally for now we've been approached about some possible film work - so maybe one or more of our vehicles will be appearing on the big screen some time soon.
Wednesday 22 October
Shows, a new page, photos, videos, TV, Radio, maintenance and a new vehicle
I have added a new Military Vehicle Collectors Club page to our website and also added more photos and videos of recent events and the new vehicle. Show season is upon us and we had a great weekend at the swapmeet at the vintage car club recently - we took a Ferret, FV432 and Landrover 101 and other MV's also attended making for a nice display. Then last weekend it was another of our Tours and Rides days - guest vehicles included another LR101 and Skippy plus a new arrival in the form of an FV433 Abbot 105mm SPG which has been bought by our friends at Protranz - this looked and sounded really aewsome blasting round our tracks to the delight of the onlookers.
I have added photos from the swapmeet and out Tours weekend in the photo gallery section. I've also added a couple of clips to the video gallery section of Boris the T-55 arriving at Lyttelton and enroute to our site.
Next weekend we are off to the North Canterbury A&P show at Rangiora with a Ferret and the Abbot - should be fun and looking forward to that.
We have also featured on the radio and TV since the last news update - helping out Si and Gary of MoreFM with their 'flip' competition with a tank car crush and also appearing on TV One's Breakfast show when Jack came along for a morning with us presenting the weather, crushing a car and having a drive in the FV432. Both were great fun and have helped spread the word about TFE.
We have also been trying to fit in maintenance when and where we can (bookings are getting busier now the weather is warming up down here) and making use of the parts we imported inside the Abbot. Work has included a new power control valve and wheel cylinder for the Saracen, new steering brakes for the Centurion and continuing work on getting some of the niggly things sorted on the T-55.
Monday 15 September
Video Gallery is now online
I have now added the Video Gallery page to our website - so keep checking back for new clips of the tanks and other vehicles in action.
Wednesday 10 September
Next Tours and Rides days, new website pages and other new
Our next tours and rides days will be Sat 18th & Sun 19th October 2008.
As well as the tours and rides days we'll also be taking some vehicles to the Vintage Car Club swap meet the weekend before and Rangiora A&P Show the weekend after.
I have been working on the website and have now added a Military Vehicle Collectors Club page which gives info about the NZ MVCC and particularly its activities in Canterbury. I've also added various picture galleries to our photo section - including some dramatic shots of the snow we've had over winter - thank goodness its getting a bit warmer now. The next addition to the website will be a video gallery section - coming soon!
We've been busy over the winter doing maintenance on the vehicles and getting Boris the T-55 sorted - he arrived with a few niggly problems but these are gradually being ironed out. We have also brought Boris up to the standard of all the other TFE vehicles with the fitment of a 'kill switch' system to cut off the fuel and also a spark arrestor on the exhaust - needed since it can get so dry out here in the summer (roll-on!). The Hagglunds has had a carb rebuild and is now running better. We also currently have the power control valve (a sort of master cylinder) out of the saracen and are trying to find a place to get this fixed - the sooner the better as it cannot be driven until this is done. Still winter is the best time to do this work when we have less guests wanting to drive and ride. Finally the next big green tracked machine we have been assisting in bringing over is due to arrive soon - can't wait to see that at the TFE site.

T-55 stars in latest Tours and Rides day
Boris the new Soviet T-55 tank was a star attraction at our Tours and Rides day on Sunday.
There was lots of interest in guests wanting to have a look at and in the new tank. Three of our visitors also took him for a drive on the day (with two of them also driving the Centurion as a comparison) which was great fun for them and very impressive for the watching spectators. Boris also starred in the now traditional car crush towards the end of the day.
I have added some pictures of both the Tours and Rides day on Sunday and the snow we had during 2 Mega-Manoeurves packages with brave guests on Saturday - at least by Sunday the sun was out! The next Tours and Rides event will be in October but as always we are open any time between then and now for driving, rides and group events - please contact us if you are interested in coming along.
Tuesday 1 July
Price changes, next tours and rides day and more T-55 news
We have increased some of our prices from today, this is due to the increasing cost of fuel.
We spent a rather wet and cold weekend checking and servicing Boris the new tank - lots of stuff to figure out but we are getting there. We worked long days to make sure he is ready for the Tours and Rides day on Sunday 6th July. We took him for his first drive around our tracks at about 4.30pm on Sunday - first impressions are that he's a bit of a monster!
The tours and rides day should be fun - with the new tank shown off for the first time, a few military vehicle collectors club members coming along for a look, some guest vehicles booked in and the car crush as usual towards the end of the day - we may even try this with Boris this time. Hopefully the weather will cooperate too!
Monday 23 June
Boris arrives!
At long last and after a long, long journey - Our latest addition 'Boris' the Soviet T-55 Main Battle Tank arrived safely at Lyttelton on Saturday and after some 'fun' working out the controls and getting him started is now at our tank site. They were lots of double-takes from other road users and pedestrians as we moved him from the port to our site via low-loader. Big thanks to Protranz and Porter Hire both of whom were brilliant in their help to get Boris successfully shifted on Saturday. I've added a couple of pictures taken at Lyttelton to our site - to see them go to the T-55AM2 Boris album in our Photo Gallery section (page 3).

T-55 almost here, snow and petrol price rises
"Boris" is now in Auckland, has passed the MAF and Customs inspections and is due here next week! We can't wait to get him safely to our site and unleash the beast on our off-road tracks. The wait is nearly over!
We had 'fun' in the snow last weekend - it went from T-shirt weather in the morning to heavy snow and freezing cold by the time we packed away - well done to Keith from Aussie (but originally Ireland) who came along for a 'The Big One' package in the afternoon and had a blast in spite (or maybe because) of the conditions!
As you can imagine we (like everyone else I guess) just love the way fuel prices are increasing at the moment. Since we opened about 2.5 years ago we have kept all prices the same with the exception of the Main Battle Tank drives and rides. If prices continue to stay this high (or worse go up further) then we will be forced to increase our prices a bit to cover these extra costs. As I'm sure you'll know / guess the vehicles we have are not designed with fuel economy in mind! So if you are thinking of buying a voucher from us do it soon to get the current prices - once purchased the vouchers are valid for 6 months.
Monday 26 May
T-55 getting closer and next Tours and Rides Day
"Boris" the T-55 is nearing Auckland and is due to arrive there in early June. Then we have to complete the MAF and Customs inspections and get him moved down here to Christchurch - so we think he will be getting to our tank site around mid-June.... fingers crossed!
Our next Tours and Rides Day will be Sunday 6th July 2008. This will also be the first chance to show the T-55 to the public and we'll see if we can use it (rather than "Maximus" the Centurion) to do the car crush this time too.
Not too much news other than that, we had a good break in Aussie and saw some interesing stuff and now we are back into doing some of those jobs which have been waiting for winter so we are a bit less busy. But mainly we are just really looking forward to getting the new tank!
Wednesday 16 April
More video clips
I found a couple more clips from our old location. The first shows Maximus the Centurion tank remodelling an old taxi at one of our Tours and Rides days. The second one shows the view / sound from inside Scrogg the Ferret as he is driven around one of the off-road circuits.

T-55 progress, new photos and other news
"Boris" our new tank has begun his long journey from the Czech Republic to NZ. The T-55 was loaded onto a truck this week and transported across Germany to a North Sea port. The latest ETA we have is 1 June into Auckland where there will be MAF and Customs inspections to complete. I have added some photos of Boris to the gallery section. I have also loaded photos of the Big Rig show at Addinton and the Centennial A & P Show at Cheviot - both events went well and were good fun to be involved with. Finally for now we are busy getting ready for our next Tours and Rides days on 19th / 20th April. After this we head away to Australia for a few days for a short break and also to look for potential new additions to the fleet.
Monday 3 March
Show news
We were at the Big Rig show with the Canterbury branch of the NZ Military Vehicle Collectors Club last weekend. It was a good chance to catch up with some friends and see the 25 pounder field gun in action - I'll aim to load some photos of this asap. Next weekend (8th March) we and a couple of vehicles are heading North to the Cheviot centennial A&P show - thanks as ever to Protranz for helping us move the vehicles. Should be another good one to look forward to...
Friday 29 February
Corporate fun
We had a big day the other weekend with Cookie Time. They had planned lots of events including some tank activities as part of their 25th year celebrations - despite a very very wet day it was great fun and they had a fantastic time splashing through the mud and completing the various activities! We went home tired and wet but pleased with the how the day had gone - and with a few cookies to munch - thanks to Cookie Time!!
Friday 8 February
T-55 update & news
Our latest addition to the fleet is still in Prague. Progress is being made (slowly but surely) towards getting "Boris" ready to ship to NZ: the last few bits of paperwork have now been completed, the gun has been 'de-activated' so that it cannot be fired :-(, the tank will soon be serviced and cleaned, some 'extras' have been thrown in to the deal and we have a shipping date of 15th March - which would mean an arrival in NZ of about June 2008.
Other than that we're busy with summer bookings, various bits and pieces of maintenance work, continuing with vehicle searches (4x4 Fire truck) and acquisitions (Abbot), and will be attending some shows and events throughout Summer and Autumn.
Wednesday 23 January
Tank vs. Car!
A couple of videos from the recent Tours and Rides days - the lucky driver is Danny who's wife lined up the tank car crush for him as a birthday surprise - he was thrilled! Contact us if you would like to buy a tank car crush voucher for our next Tours and Rides weekend which will be 19th and 20th April 2008.

T-55 progress update and various
The T-55 tank now has its import / export paperwork in place and is currently being prepared for shipping ("Boris" has being pulled out of the tightly packed storage area and is being checked / serviced to make sure he is in a fully working state) - no dates yet for an ETA so we're just having to be patient. We have sold "Freddie" the fire engine and "Larry" the SWB Land Rover - both have gone to good homes and I'm sure will be well looked after. We had a film shoot here as part of the collection of Freddie so are looking forward to seeing the results in the finished program. We also had an early Boxing Day start in order to get a couple of the vehicles to Harvey Norman at Northwood Supa Centa as part of their sale promotion - I always love driving something like a large APC around a shopping centre and watching people's stunned reactions! Not much more news - the FAQ section is proving both popular and useful and we are now into preparations for the next Tours and Rides weekend which is fast approaching.
Wednesday 12 December
Christmas and New Year opening times
We will be open as normal (i.e. prior booking required) throughout most of the summer holidays. The only days we'll by closed are 24th, 25th, 26th Dec and 31st Dec, 1st Jan. Also our next Tours and Rides day are on Sat 19th and Sun 20th Jan 2008 11am-4pm each day - remember that you do not need to book for these (but we do ask large groups too please). Merry Christmas and best wishes for a prosperous New Year to all our customers and friends!.
Tuesday 11 December
New driving packages and other website updates
With the purchase of our new tank (due in Autumn 2008) we have added the T-55 tank to the vehicles page and also a couple more packages to the driving experiences page:- "Mega-manoeuvres" is our new premium package (featuring a drive of every one of our vehicle types) and also "East vs. West" (have a drive of both our Main Battle Tanks). Even thought "Boris" the T-55 won't be here until Autumn you can buy vouchers for any of these new experiences now and use them once he arrives - remember that the individual tank driving and rides prices increase from Jan 1 2008 so this is a chance to buy at the current lower price. I have also made some other changes to the website in order to keep it up to date and include a few more photos taken at the new site.
Monday 10 December
FAQ section added
I have now added a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page to the website. Hopefully this will help to answer some of the questions that we get asked most often.
Friday 23 November
Updates and pricing
I realised I haven't updated the site for a while so here's a few items - we have been busy lately and have various bits of news - I've listed these below. Also with the price of petrol continuing to climb we are going to increase the price of the Centurion individual drive from $350 to $375 from 1st Jan 2008 (and the tank ride experience from $200 to $230). This is our first price increase since we opened 2 years ago and reflects the fuel consumption of the Cent! (The T-55 tank we are buying is a diesel, like the Centurion is has a V-12 engine but the Russian's super-charged 39 litres makes the Cent look small at 27 litres!).
Friday 23 November
The Russians are coming! (soon)
We have just bought a Russian T-55 Main Battle Tank to add to our fleet. "Boris" - 'the Beast from the East' is a T-55AM2 formerly of the Hungarian Army. Currently located in Prague, Czech Republic we are now working on getting Boris (and the associated paperwork) prepared for shipping and hope he will be arrived in NZ around February next year.
At the same time we are also helping to procure another big tracked 'Green Machine' from the UK for an associate of ours - we can assist with finding, purchasing, transporting and importing military and armoured vehicles from around the world - contact us for more info.
Thursday 22 November
Show season, new pictures
We've been busy attending shows recently - we went out to the Waipara Vintage festival along with other New Zealand Military Vehicle Collectors Club members in Sept. Then in Oct we took some vehicles to the Swap meet on Mcleans Island and to Oxford for a Plunket fund-raiser. Last week we were at the Christchurch A & P Show again with fellow NZMVCC members. All good fun and a chance to meet and chat to some very interesting people who have fascinating knowledge about the vehicles and their past service life. As ever, the guys at Protranz have been outstanding at moving our vehicles to and from the shows! I've added some photos from both Waipara and the Chch A & P show.
The shows drop off now until Autumn so there's a chance to concentrate on other things and we're getting busier as the Summer holidays approach - but I am looking forward to the Military Vehicle Collectors Club BBQ next weekend.
Wednesday 21 November
Next Tours & Rides days
Next tours and rides will be Sat 19th & Sun 20th January 2008 11am-4pm with the tank car crush at about 3 pm each day. As always we are open any time (by prior arrangement) for driving experiences as well as group tours and rides - please contact us to book in.
Wednesday 29 August
Latest events, new pictures and future plans
We've been pretty busy recently with lots of guests coming along to drive and / or ride in the vehicles. We've also had great fun with some company groups doing team building activities and challenges. We also had the challenge of getting a couple of new Hagglund sprockets after 2 failed at the same time - all sorted now.
I've put up photos of some of the recent activities which as well as one of the corporate days also includes a visit by Hagley Community College and a visit to Mitre 10 in Ashburton as part of a 'Big boys toys' promo last weekend - driving the vehicles into the drive-thru for overnight parking certainly raised a few eyebrows! We're also currently pursuing getting a new toy - it will no doubt take a few months and I'll put progress reports on here as and when it gets closer to being a reality.
Wednesday 22 August
Next Tours & Rides days
Next tours and rides will be 27 & 28 October 11am-4pm with the tank car crush at about 3 pm each day. We are hoping for plenty of guest vehicles - confirmations of these nearer the time.
Monday 23 July
Latest Tours and Rides event, new pictures and fun with tracks!
Our latest Tours and Rides event was last weekend - Saturday was a gloomy day so thanks to those who braved the weather, Sunday was much nicer with the sun out most of the day and over 100 spectators to watch the ever-popular Centurion car crush in the afternoon. As well as our total vehicle fleet we also had some great guest vehicles in the form of an ex-NZ army V8 Landrover and Unimog plus an ex-RAF Landrover 101 GS. Thanks to Norbert, Vince, 'Paintball Steve' and David for bringing their vehicles along. We're currently trying to see if we can also get a NZLAV to the next Tours and Rides event which will be the last weekend in October!
We have now posted new albums to our Gallery section including us moving to the new site (on a very frosty morning), our vehicles at the Mainland Arms & Militeria Show at Pioneer Stadium, some of our latest guests in the form of the Seal party (thanks Will for sending the photos), the July Tours and Rides Event and the fun(?) we had on Sunday after one of the FV432's decided to throw a track....hmmm not the most fun job - it was late and dark before we finally got the thing back on, thanks a lot to the guys who stayed to help us!
Wednesday 13 June
TFE at the Christchurch Arms & Militaria Show
We'll be taking some of our vehicles to the 2007 Mainland Arms Show at Pioneer Stadium on the 14 & 15 July - this was great fun last year and we got to meet some really interesting and knowledgeable people - we just hope it's a bit warmer than last time!.
Monday 11 June
TFE Site move
We've moved! About 1km up Mcleans Island road to a new and bigger site. It was great fun driving the vehicles along the forest road to the new site and allowed me to get the Centurion into top (fifth) gear for the first time - a great feeling, boy that engine's got a lot of grunt!.
One of the best things about running TFE is the really nice people we get to meet. Over the weekend of the move we had Doug from the North Island who drove the Hagglund for the last ever drive on the old circuit and then Troy from Aussie who had the honour of being the first guest to drive on the new courses and took the FV432 for a spin. Both guys did really well and were excellent drivers.
The next thing we have to do is get the signage up at our new location so that everyone can fnd us OK.
Monday 4 June
Next Tours & Rides days
Next tours and rides will be 21 & 22 July 11am-4pm with the tank car crush at about 3 pm each day.
Monday 30 April
Best tours days yet
Thanks to everyone who came to visit us last weekend and made it the most enjoyable tours and rides days so far, especailly the people who braved the rain on Saturday - they were rewarded with seeing the vehicles churning through the deep mud - lots of fun.
Sunday was a much nicer day and brought our biggest crowds to date. Guest vehicles included a rag top Landrover 101 and 2 WW2 veterans in the form of a 'puddlejumper' and classic Jeep. Many thanks to our friends for bringing these along. As ever the Centurion tank crushing the car proved one of the most popular attractions of each day - 52 tons of tank does make a car very very flat!
Next tours and rides will be late July with the exact date to be announced closer to the event.

A&P show debrief
Well the show went well again apart from the weather being against us!
As well as our vehicles we were joined by a Ferret from Ashburton making a nice little collection for visitors to look at - having a peek in the back of the FV432 proving particularly popular.
The Hagglunds rides were great fun with some nice slopes being available in the FMX arena - it still amazes me what that vehicle can do - and how easy it makes it seem.
Wednesday 8th November
See us at the A&P show next week!
Tanks For Everything will be at the Christchurch A&P show again this year
We'll have an FV432 APC, Ferret scout car and Landrover 101 at the site plus we'll be offering rides in our Hagglunds BV206 tracked carrier for just $7.50 per person.
Find us at Site B36 (this is in the South East corner of the showground near the vintage machinery, FMX motorbikes and tractor pulling).

Tours and Rides weekend report
Our third Tours and Rides weekend went well, although the weather could have been nicer - guest vehicles included ex-NZ landrovers (SWB skippy and LWB V8), plus a ex-NZ army Unimog and also an ex-UK Landrover 101 GS. Thanks to Norbert, Vince, Clarke, Jason and David for bringing their vehicles along! Two more cars met their doom under the tracks of the Centurion, which as ever was a great crowd pleaser.
