Finding the Tanks For Everything site is very easy, we are located on the corner of Mcleans Island Road and Chattertons Road about 1 km from Orana Wildlife Park and just 10 minutes for Christchurch International Airport. See below for a map and detailed driving directions.

Opening hours: We are open any time by prior arrangement for driving experiences, group tours and rides and corporate or team-building events - please contact us to book a time for your tank experience.

Need Transport: For return transport to Tanks For Everything we recommend the Orana Park Shuttle.

Daily departures from Cathedral Square (city centre) at 10am and 1pm, arriving at our site approx 30 minutes later. The return service leaves from our site at 1.30pm and 4.15pm.

Tours and Rides Days: We also have regular Tours and Rides days - on these days (advertised on our About Us page) we are open without the need to book - this is a good way for individuals, families and smaller groups to come along for a tour and/or ride without the normal minimum group size restrictions. Guided tours start at 11am and 1pm with rides starting at about 12 noon and 2pm. The tour costs $15 adults, $10 children and accompanied under 5's free. The FV432 APC rides cost $15 per person. You can also come along for a main battle ride ride or any driving experience on these days - see The Vehicles page for these prices. We often have guest vehicles at our site for these events.

Driving Directions

Finding the Tanks For Everything site is very easy, we are located on the corner of Mcleans Island Road and Chattertons Road about 1 km from Orana Wildlife Park and just 10 minutes for Christchurch International Airport.

From the North:

Head south towards Christchurch on highway 1. Stay on highway 1 (Johns Road) by turning right at Belfast and follow the signs for South and Christchurch Airport. Turn right onto Mcleans Island road (look for the brown Orana Wildlife Park sign) and follow Mcleans Island Road for approximately 10 minutes passing Harewood Golf Course and Orana Wildlife Park. We are located about 1 km past the wildlife park – look for the tank signs.

From the South:

Head north toward Christchurch on highway 1. Stay on highway 1 (Carmen Road) by turning left at Hornby and follow signs for North and Christchurch Airport. At Russley turn left onto Highway 73 (Yaldhurst Road). Turn right at the Yaldhurst crossroads onto Pound Road (look for the brown Orana Wildlife Park sign). At the T-Junction turn left and follow Mcleans Island Road for approximately 8 minutes passing Harewood Golf Course and Orana Wildlife Park. We are located about 1 km past the wildlife park – look for the tank signs.

From the West:

Head East towards Christchurch on Highway 73. Turn left at the Yaldhurst crossroads onto Pound Road (look for the brown Orana Wildlife Park sign). At the T-Junction turn left and follow Mcleans Island Road for approximately 8 minutes passing Harewood Golf Course and Orana Wildlife Park. We are located about 1 km past the wildlife park – look for the tank signs.
